Complaints

Do you have a concern regarding your Health Care?

The Dubbo/Plains Division of General Practice does not have the power or the authority to act on complaints about individual General Practitioners or general practices.

The Dubbo Dubbo/Plains Division of General Practice encourages consumers with complaints of this nature to take the matter to the GP or practice concerned. Talk to the GP, staff or Practice Manager.

Most health services, such as hospitals and community health centres, have an established complaints process that should be accessed for complaints about that organization.

Complaints processes are designed to allow feedback to the organization so that service quality can be continually improved.

If you are not happy with the outcome of your complaint, or your complaint is of a serious nature, you can direct your complaint in the first instance to …..

If you are not satisfied with the way they deal with your complaint, or if they do not respond, then you can complain to the Office of the Federal Privacy Commissioner website on:  http://www.privacy.gov.au/

Complaints can be posted, faxed or emailed to:
