The Division supports general practice with their clinical software to achieve greater efficiencies.  Onsite assistance is available for doctors, nurses and practice staff.  This may include: 

• Recall and reminder registers
• Using clinical management software
• Electronic Communication with other providers
• Improving chronic disease management with information management
• Current informatics initiatives in healthcare

Recent Medicare Changes:   Electronic Referrals & Argus Clinical Messaging

As a result of a recent Medicare Australia review, individual digital signing is are no longer required for provider-to-provider electronic referrals and requests
