The GP Education Program is committed to identifying and responding to priority GP learning needs in our area. A minimum of 17 GP education activities are facilitated by the Division on an annual basis. Monthly GP Education Evenings (excluding January) and periodic Saturday Workshops are offered in Dubbo and six GP Education Evenings are hosted in Mudgee. The purpose of these activities is to enable rural GPs to participate in positive learning and interactive experiences that improve knowledge, skills and patient outcomes. A majority of events are accredited with the ACRRM PDP and RACGP QA&CPD programs to enable participants to attain continuing professional development points. Regional GPs have the option of attending events or requesting available GP Education Packages (incorporating a hard-copy of the PowerPoint slides and DVD).

Med-E-Serv PriMeD is a great way to do your CPD. PriMeD earns you as much as 5 RACGP Group 1 points per hour but you can do it at home and in sessions as short as 15 minutes. Thousands of GPs enjoy the program which is made up of an interesting variety of learning options and allows you to work with GPs from all over Australia.

Australian Doctor's education program allows you to earn your CPD points when and where it suits you.
